Here are the standard borrowing privileges for our patrons:

• RU students:

  • Four Weeks. 

  • Greenlease Library items have unlimited renewals, except for items with holds placed on them.

  • MOBIUS items are allowed 2 renewals if there are no outstanding holds for the item.

  • OCLC items are renewable dependent on the lending libraries policy and decision making

• RU staff and faculty: 

  • All Semester. 

  • Greenlease Library items have unlimited renewals, except for items with holds placed on them.

  • MOBIUS items are allowed 2 renewals if there are no outstanding holds for the item.

  • OCLC items are renewable dependent on the lending libraries policy and decision making. 

• RU alumni: 

  • Four Weeks. 

  • Greenlease Library items have 2 renewals, except for items with holds placed on them.

  • Not able to checkout or renew MOBIUS items. 

  • Not able to checkout or renew OCLC items. 

• RU Faculty/Staff Emeriti

  • Same loan rules as current faculty/staff. 

The Greenlease Library is currently reviewing our policies for patrons who are not affiliated with Rockhurst and their ability to checkout library resources. An update will be given by the middle of 2024.
